Hello, I recently signed up for an appointment Monday morning online. I know this is pretty new. How do I go about with this appointment? Do I log onto the Writing Center website? Please let me know. Thank you, Gianna

Hi Gianna,
I spoke with Lee Sherlock, who I think worked with you to get started with your online appointment. But, I wanted to post a reply to your question in case anyone else about to have an online appointment is wondering the same thing.
Lee says that once clients sign up for an online appointment, he receives email notification that they have signed up. Once he gets that email, he sends them an email back that includes login information, as well as links for how to download and install Second Life, which is the application in which online sessions take place. The email also gives a link to a website where clients can find an instruction sheet for the online consultation.
So, basically, once people sign up for an online consultation, they should receive an email from the Writing Center before their appointment time.
We hope you enjoyed your online session!
Stacey
Hi Tabatha,
I double checked the schedule and see that everything looks good for your appointment on Wednesday morning. Sometimes it takes a couple of days for an online consultant to process your request for an appointment and get an email to you. If you haven't received it yet, it should be coming very soon.
Let me know if you need more help!
